<BALLET PIANO : music for ballet class>는 발레 피아니스트 김지현의 발레 클래스 앨범 1집에서 6집 중에서, 자작곡 52곡을 선별하며 엮은 발레 클래스 피아노 연주곡집입니다.

발레의 우아함과 내면의 자유로움이 담긴 음악, 몸과 마음을 모두 움직이게 하는 음악을 만들고자 했던 피아니스트의 음악 세계로 초대합니다. 꿈과 땀의 현장에서 무용수들을 춤추게 하는 음악을 피아노로 만나보시길 바랍니다.

Drawn in by the vibrant connection between movement and music, I found myself at the piano in the dance studio. The music inspired the dance, and the dance, in turn, gave life to the music, creating a new path for expression. The journey culminates in this ballet class sheet music compilation – 52 original pieces selected from six studio albums, beginning with my debut in 2018.

In composing this music, I aimed to capture the grace of ballet and the limitless freedom of the soul – music that moves both the body and the mind in harmony. I invite you to experience, through the piano, the melodies that guide dancers towards their stage of dreams and devotion.
